Turtulli Castle Stone Villa 1 - Private Pool Oasis

The location was really handy: 15 minutes from the airport, five minutes on foot to the beach, and 25 minutes from Heraklion. We hired both villas for 15 girls, and the four bedrooms and four bathrooms worked perfectly. There were two extra beds in the sauna area if we'd needed them, but we all fit in the rooms. When we arrived, the fridges were stocked with alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Towels and beach towels were provided, and the pool and loungers were all ready for us. The pool was beautiful and looked lovely lit up at night. The villas' stonework is gorgeous, built by the host's father. The beds were super comfy, the bathrooms finished to a really high standard, and the beach nearby had fabulous restaurants and cute little shops. We walked to Island Gouves, just seven minutes away, and had the best night. Dinner was fab, the DJ was brilliant, and it was a very convenient walk, or stumble, back. The host drove us everywhere throughout the trip and was always available if we needed to contact him. We'll definitely be back. A fabulous sunny weekend, thanks so much again.

Our group of 10 from the Netherlands had a fantastic stay. The house was exactly as shown in the pictures, which was perfect. The host was incredible and did everything he could for us. He'd stocked the fridge before we arrived, so we didn't have to rush off to the supermarket. He bought coal for the pizza oven, and when I texted asking for a cutting board, he turned up with one five minutes later. He drove us everywhere for a very fair price and recommended all the good places in the area. I'd recommend this place to any kind of group going to Kreta.

The hosts were very accommodating, and the villa was spacious, in a good location and very close to the beach. It had everything you could imagine for cooking and eating, including a washing machine and dishwasher with capsules. The fridge was stocked with water and fizzy drinks. There are two large outdoor verandas, one upstairs and one on the ground floor, great for relaxing early in the morning or spending long evenings outside with friends or family. The small and large swimming pools were both clean, and the property has security gates. The interior was beautiful and spotless. A first class stay, highly recommend!

Micheal and the team made us feel so welcome and turned the stay into a memorable one. We had a great time at Turtulli Castle Villas, and the roomy villa was lovely. I’d definitely recommend it for a Crete getaway and hope to come back.
