The family who own this place have done a great job. The design is exquisite, and its central position on the island makes it easy to visit lots of places. What a wonderful stay!

The view from the villa is beautiful, but for us it didn't come close to making up for the stay. We were eight people, yet one of the five bedrooms was locked because there weren't ten of us. The apartment was described as sleeping ten with two double beds, but we had to fit into four rooms. It seemed to save them the trouble of changing the beds and bathrooms. We also hadn't expected the landlord and her husband to live in the basement of the house. They were around every day, which really affected our privacy. On arrival we were given a lot of extra rules, including absolute quiet after 11:00 PM and no lingering at the table after dinner. When we did stay at the table, the police were actually called. The listing promised peace and quiet, but the crickets were incredibly loud during the day. We know crickets are part of a holiday abroad, but this was on another level. It was a very unpleasant experience, and the lovely view just wasn't worth it.
