Nico, the owner, really made the stay special. He’s a great guy, and his frappes, ice cream sundaes, and toasties are excellent. The rooms were clean and the pool was amazing. Cosmi is also close to the beach and all the lovely restaurants. If you’re staying there, Phillipo's is just down the road and well worth a visit. Phillipo is a wonderful man, and the food there is excellent.

The outdoor area and pool were great, and there’s a bar serving drinks and pizza toasties. It’s also close to some nice beaches. The hotel itself was very nice, with helpful, friendly people working there.

The main drawback for families is how basic the apartment equipment is, especially in the kitchen. We asked for an extra cooking pot and were turned down. The apartment was clean and the pool was nice and clean, but without kids the place may be fine. Air conditioning is installed, though we were asked to pay EUR 50 to use it. The sea is nearby, but the sandy beach with a gradual entry that works for smaller children is a 15 - 20 minute walk away. Planes landing in Heraklion pass low over the building, as it sits right under the flight corridor. They fly over even at night, which could bother some people.

We had an amazing trip and will definitely come back. The hotel is right in kato gouves, and its location is great, with everything about a 10 to 15 minute walk away. The owners were welcoming and friendly, and the place was very clean. Highly recommend!

The rooms were clean, and the staff were great and really helpful. The apartments are in a great spot, close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Recommended 100%.
