Belle Helene Hotel

I made a booking mistake: I reserved a hotel with the same name through booking, but at a different location. This hotel wasn't obliged to give my money back, yet they returned it very quickly. I really respect that. Thanks for cooperating, and greetings 😊. I wasn't actually a guest, but still wanted to leave a very good review.

The quiet setting made a lovely base for exploring Mani, and our stay at the Belle Helene Hotel in Gythio, Mani was wonderful. The beach was pristine, with sunbeds all over, and the pool area was just as peaceful, with all the amenities we needed. Service at the beach bar was excellent too. Our room was comfortable and had a stunning sea view. Mrs. Pitsa kept it clean and tidy, and her warm, smiley personality brightened our days. Housekeeping cleaned and changed the towels every day, and even supplied beach towels. Mrs. Georgia, the manager, was kind and incredibly helpful, always available with a beautiful smile that made us feel welcome. The whole staff were attentive, kind, and smiley, including Maria and Panayiota. Mr. Panayiotis, the maitre, and the chef were also amazing. They made every meal a pleasure with attentive service and delicious, simple dishes that left us more than satisfied. Breakfast stood out, with tasty choices served in a clean, pleasant setting. The location was perfect, and the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service made us want to visit again. I'd highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Gythio, Mani.

The hotel isn't new, which adds to its charm. Breakfast was good for a 3 star hotel, and the service was very nice. There's a fantastic pool and immediate access to a pristine beach, so it's great value for money.

The setting felt very old, with just a few small renovations. Breakfast was so-so, and the omelet was overcooked. It was too noisy, and the display wasn't very nice.
