Salonikiou Beach Deluxe Apartments

Room 1 was a great apartment: a separate bedroom, two toilets, and a roomy kitchen and living room, with a table and chairs in the front yard. There was private parking, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The beach was less than a minute away, with umbrellas and beach chairs available to borrow for free. Breakfast was very good and replenished every day. It's a quiet place with no nearby activities, so it suited the kind of peaceful holiday we wanted. The hosts were lovely. Housekeeping didn't wipe the floors or vacuum during our stay, and the soundproofing was poor enough that we could hear the tenants above us. Even so, everything else was really good, so I'd give it five stars. Hope to see you next year!

The host cancelled our reservation, made through Booking.com five months in advance, just two weeks before our family summer holiday. We weren't offered support or adequate compensation. The host gave different explanations: first concern that we had two babies and the apartment was on the 4th floor with no elevator, then a double booking. I didn't stay at the property, so I can't comment on the actual experience, though the listing did look promising.

A quiet place to stay, with private parking and owners who were very nice and easy to communicate with. They accept card payments on site, and the Wi-Fi was stable enough even for more demanding work. The terrace was large, with a beautiful sea view and sunrises. Breakfast supplies, including sausages, eggs, juice, salami and cheese, were replenished daily. We'd definitely recommend this accommodation.

Elena and her husband were sweet and welcoming when we arrived, and just as kind when we left. The house was furnished beautifully and matched the description. The garden was peaceful, there was a lovely olive tree in front of our apartment, and the sea was very close. Two powerful air conditioners kept us comfortable, and the internet worked fine. Elena also helped my wife with something she needed, which meant a lot to us. She was very hospitable and even greeted us in our own language. They provided one bottle of water for one night, but you should shop before coming. Nikiti is the best option for the cheapest Lidl supermarket.
