Candia Studio-Heraklion City Center

Our suite had lots of space, a fresh renovation and a really cool feel. It’s tucked into an old, crowded part of Heraklion, so having a rental car makes a spot in the underground garage especially useful. The host was the real standout. I think his name was Minoris, though I may have misheard it or got the spelling wrong. He went out of his way to make the stay great, and it was. I’d happily recommend Candia Suites & Rooms for a short visit or a longer one.

The staff were warm and ready to help, and everything I needed was nearby. My room was comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated. I really enjoyed staying here and would gladly return. Highly recommend it!

We only needed a place for one night before our flight, and the clean, comfortable room worked well. It was small and on the first floor, but the bed was large, the decor was nice, the AC worked well and the modern bathroom was clean with no odd smells. The private parking was only a few steps away, which helped a lot. We arrived on Sunday evening and everything went smoothly. Reception was easy to reach by text or through Booking.com, and they were flexible when I changed our arrival time. The receptionist explained how to get in, showed us our parking spot and even suggested drying my swimsuit on chairs outside. That worked. We were right in the old town, with food and things to do as soon as we stepped out.

The room was pretty dirty, including the sheets, pillowcases and bathroom, which was a bit gross. Still, it was fine for one night. The location is close to the center, check-in was easy, and parking was free. There were two small bottles of water in the fridge, and the staff were very friendly. They even let us leave the car for a few hours after checkout.
