Breakfast was decent, and the hotel is very central, about a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal. Around half the walk was uphill, which seems pretty normal for most hotels here. It got a little noisy at night, though the sound eventually died down. I'd likely stay again.

Stay away. The hotel was horrible, and the management was extremely rude. Before our trip, I called to confirm we had a twin room with two beds. They said they had it for now, but would give it to someone staying more days if such a person came. Who says that? They also said parking was available behind the hotel, then charged us 33 euros after three days without telling us parking cost extra. The manager and employee were rude. The rooms were awful, with the toilet, sink, and washroom all in three separate places within the room. They also had charges they hadn't mentioned when we arrived.

We were so glad we chose Olive Green. The staff were warm, friendly, professional, and responsive, and the location was great. Our spacious room was extremely comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. I loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the park, with chairs, footstools, and a table. Breakfast was outstanding. Don't miss the archeological museum!

Booking the birthday package through the Olive Green Hotel website added a lovely touch to our stay. They had everything arranged perfectly, with a cake, fresh flowers, wine, and festive balloons waiting in the room. It made the celebration feel really special. Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The whole place was very well maintained. We had a great experience and would definitely return. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway, especially if you're celebrating something special.

The location puts you right in the middle of the best parts of Heraklion, and the Olive Green Hotel was clean, friendly, and helpful. The rooms were larger and well priced, which made a longer stay easier. The restaurant food tasted great and was decently priced. The staff were super helpful and could arrange taxis to the airport or port.
