Park Hotel

👎🚨 The official website showed a lower rate than Booking, but they still tried to trick me into paying more. They wouldn't let me check in for five days, only one day, then doubled the price, saying only a very expensive room was available and the other rooms were fully booked. I had to check out in the morning. Not recommended. The rooms are full of mosquitoes, the renovation is old, and the cleaning staff come in without knocking.😳❗️👎

The location was peaceful, near the beach, and the walk along the sea to the city took about 40 minutes. The owners and the cleaning lady were kind and helpful. Our room felt a bit cramped, though the balcony gave us extra space. There weren’t any shelves in the cupboard, which would have been useful for clothes. On two of our seven mornings, there was no hot water because the owner had forgotten to switch on the heating when there was no sun.

For the price, I’d recommend staying here. The staff were friendly, the rooms were in very good condition, and there’s a pool and parking right beside the hotel. It’s a little way from the center, but close to Ammoudara beach and the highway. I would have liked more furniture in the room, and the shower didn’t work very well. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

We had a great short holiday here with a friend in August 2019. The pool was lovely, and we were close to the beach, restaurants, and a few shops just a short walk away. The rooms were comfortable enough, and we were happy with what we paid. We didn’t have cutlery or plates in the room at first, but Katerina gave us some when we asked. Her cooking is amazing!
