We spent two nights on Hydra at this lovely spot. The proprietor was kind-hearted, and the garden was a nice place to sit. It’s set a little back from the main street, so coming home each evening felt great.

I was here in Sept 24, and the hostess was lovely and very accommodating. There are shaded paved spots to unwind, with cats around, and a cool sitting room full of old objects and books. It’s wonderfully quiet. In the morning, you can walk uphill past sheep, donkeys, and farm houses to the Church at the top for amazing views. There’s also an easy, flat paved walk out of town to go swimming.

I booked at the last minute to meet friends and had such a lovely time. The woman running the place was sweet and made sure I had what I needed. The rooms are well kept, though a few hinges could use some WD-40. Breakfast is a lovely Greek buffet. From the port it’s a short, easy 10 minute walk to this quiet neighborhood. Look for all the plants by the breakfast area when you arrive. ❤️

We found this peaceful family-run hotel less than a 10 minute walk from the harbor. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast came on a lovely, leafy terrace right by the entrance. Such a relaxing place, and I highly recommend it.

We were 20 people, and the whole team made us feel so welcome. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they did a great job accommodating our group. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast had a nice range of choices every morning, and the courtyard was pretty and relaxing. I’d definitely recommend the Greco for a stay on Hydra.
