I fell for Hydra, and Athina Guesthouse was part of the reason. It’s lovely, clean, and in a pretty setting, with such friendly people. It fills up fast, but after staying there, I can see why!

Evita is a wonderful, highly organized host who speaks fluent English. She goes out of her way to help with absolutely anything. You couldn’t ask for better.

We really liked the guesthouse’s pleasant country style and the view over town from our clean room. The beds were comfortable, there were extra towels for the beach, and there’s a nice place to sit with tea in the evening. The staff were friendly. We did have trouble with the shower, which wasn’t comfortable, and opening the drawers was very difficult.

The owner was so friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and just a short distance from Hydra’s port. Highly recommended.

We had breakfast on our little balcony, which made an already wonderful stay even nicer. The room was super clean and had everything we needed. It’s about a five-minute walk from the port. We miss this place. Thanks for the lovely experience!
