Villa Chantaloukas

The peaceful setting and the very tidy studio stood out, along with how smoothly we were welcomed. We’d seen photos of Chantaloukas and liked them, but after visiting places around the world, we can say the holiday at Chantal’s matched what we’d hoped for in every way. Chantal’s husband and son were fantastic cooks, and the efficient bus connections made it easy to get around. A solid 10/10 from me. Thanks so much, Chantal, and I hope we meet again. Best regards.

We spent our days enjoying the lovely pool and garden, with colorful flowers and shady spots. The villa was spotless and fully equipped, and the spacious rooms were tastefully decorated and stayed wonderfully cool on hot days. Chantal and Manolis made the place feel special with their personal care. They were friendly and helpful, offered local tips, and could arrange car rentals. The location was quiet but still close to the beach, with a good base for exploring culture and nature as well as relaxing. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived and found the villa comfortable and peaceful. We’ll definitely return. Highly recommended for a relaxing, memorable holiday.

Breakfast had so many choices, including what must have been about 15 kinds of homemade jam! Every evening there was a set menu or à la carte, and it was all delicious, even the homemade fries. The rooms were very clean, too. We had a fantastic time with Chantal and her family and really felt at home. There were lots of Flemish people there as well, which made it feel so cozy 💯.

The food was delicious, everything was spotless, and there were plenty of comfortable loungers by the pool. We had another fantastic holiday with Chantal and the whole team. That warm, homely atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and it’s a peaceful, relaxing place with a great base for exploring Heraklion or Chersonissos.
