Manolia is a beautiful guesthouse in a quiet area, even though it’s very central, only a three-minute walk from the port and shops. The room was gorgeous and looked just as pictured, with an elegant style we loved. We also enjoyed the well-kept garden, which guests can share. Ms Matina was an excellent host and offered recommendations. Communication was great, and they contacted us before the stay to check our estimated arrival time, then had the room ready earlier than expected. Special mention for the mattress, which was supremely comfortable and gave me one of the best nights of sleep I’ve ever had.

After a bad stay in a similarly priced room, this place was a welcome change. Mine was spacious, bright, modern, and clean, with a great location. The toiletries were decent, and there was a light breakfast with coffee. Having the A/C, dehumidifier, and little bathroom heater made those cold April nights comfortable. Great value, too.

The bathroom was especially roomy and worked well for two, and the room itself was spacious, nicely designed, and had all the amenities we wanted. They also offered a simple brunch and coffee. Reception was welcoming and efficient, and helped us with whatever we needed. Being close to the port was handy since you have to carry your own luggage. We didn't like the windows, though. One looks straight onto the street at eye level, and the other faces reception, so we felt we had to keep them shut and use the A/C. The curtains aren't separate from the windows, so you can't close the curtains while leaving the windows open.

The staff were so kind and ready to help, and the location is hard to beat. Our room was really clean and spacious. We had an amazing time at Manolia and will definitely come back to Hydra and stay there again!
