Aigaion Guesthouse

Being able to cook in the well-equipped kitchenette made this family-run apartment-hotel a great fit for a longer stay, though it works just as well for a short one. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together, and the hosts made us feel welcome straight away. It’s a peaceful spot between the sea and the mountains, both only a few minutes on foot, with beautiful views all around. Therma, its waterfalls, and the surrounding nature are a short drive away. This was the highlight of my time in Samothraki, and I’d happily recommend it.

The garden made it easy to slow down, with trees, plants, hammocks, and tables to sit at. We also loved the sea view from our balcony, the tasty coffee and breakfast each morning, and how close the hotel is to Therma. Our room was spotless, and the hospitality was warm throughout. Staying here really lifted the whole trip. Hard to put the experience into words.

We spent our days exploring Samothraki, from the waterfalls and mountain hikes to the beaches and little villages, and the stay at Aigaion Guesthouse made the vacation unforgettable. Giorgos and his family were warm and always willing to help. The location worked perfectly for us. At the guesthouse, the garden, shaded parking, cool comfortable room, and sea view all felt carefully arranged to help guests relax. We certainly did.
