Staying at Mastoris Mansion was one of the best parts of my Greece trip. I booked it on Airbnb, and Kristos welcomed me, showed me to my room, and explained everything I needed to know. Even in July's heat, the overhead fan kept the room comfortably cool. I loved the unusual wood and stone details, especially in the bathroom. The shared terrace is a lovely perk, and you're right in the center, within walking distance of everything you need. I'd highly recommend it for a stay on Hydra.

The family running the mansion made us feel like we'd found our Greek family for the stay. The whole place was spotless, warm, and welcoming, with so much care in every detail. We slept for 11 hours the first night, which I haven't managed since I was a teenager! It was super comfortable, fairly priced, and in a great location. Absolutely fantastic, highly recommend.

It's hard to describe the feeling of staying in this home, surrounded by Hydra's history and so much love. The family clearly put care into every corner, and their warmth seems to be part of the place itself. Full of character, unique, and honestly a bit magical. I had the most heartwarming stay, and I'll definitely be back.

The narrow streets around the mansion are quiet, even though you're only a few steps from the cafes and restaurants. The building is old and has been refurbished with real thought for its history. We had a wonderful few days on Hydra, and staying at Mastoris Mansion made the trip even more memorable.

The owner was a pleasure to be around and very accommodating. We especially liked the complimentary breakfast, which we could eat up on the rooftop. It's a quaint little place with everything you need, and the decor and furnishings are eclectic and one of a kind. I'd recommend it if you'd rather stay somewhere with personality than in a standard hotel room.
