Ialysos City Hotel

The reception team were genuinely lovely, friendly, and helpful. The rest of the stay was so bad that I would give the hotel zero stars if I could. During my four days there, housekeeping came only once. The pool was filthy, and I wouldn't even touch the water. It looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. Breakfast offered no buffet or choice at all. You have to eat whatever they serve, with no flexibility. The breakfast server seemed as if she didn't want to be there. When I asked for coffee, I got instant Nescafé; when I asked for two peaches, I was given half a peach, chopped up. It felt like asking for a favor, even though I was paying far more than the place was worth. They give you what they want to give, not what you ask for. Avoid.

The owner was lovely and gave us some really good suggestions, and breakfast was delightful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The hotel is near the beach, with plenty of great restaurants and shops close by. The bus stop for Rhodes old town is less than a five-minute walk away. Highly recommend!

We stayed for seven days and left wishing we could have stayed longer. This family-run hotel made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and the service went beyond what you'd expect, even at a five-star place. Manos helped us whenever we needed it, including letting us use a room to freshen up before our late departure. The stay helped us fall in love with Rhodes. I really hope we can return one day.

We had a clean, comfortable apartment with air conditioning and a balcony. The location is handy for restaurants and markets, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. Highly recommended.
