Platoni Elite Villas

The food stood out most for me. In all the 19 countries I’ve visited, this was the best I’ve had. There was something new almost every day, with salad, an appetizer and dessert alongside each dish. I’d have liked ice cream more often and less orange cake or baklava, which we didn’t really enjoy, but the chocolate cake was superb and the breakfast yoghurt was great. Breakfast always included eggs, with scrambled, fried or omelette options and toppings you could choose. The villa was great and even had Fifa. The air conditioning worked well apart from one room where it was weak, and I appreciated that detergent pods were provided for the washing machine. The beach is nearby and wasn’t too crowded, though you’ll need to bring your own shade. The supermarket across the street was handy, and the staff were pleasant. There are lots of cats around, plus two very nosy dogs.

The apartments were modern and clean, with comfortable beds, daily cleaning and good air conditioning. We liked the pool, restaurant and friendly service, and the beach is an easy walk away. There are plenty of other restaurants close by, too, and a supermarket nearby. We rented a car for the week, though next time I think I’d take a taxi from the airport. Hope we get to come back.

It’s an easy five-minute walk to Lalysos village and the beach, and the villas work really well for families. The pool area is beautiful and the food is amazing. This welcoming, family-run place feels like a second home to us. We love it here, and I’m sure this won’t be our last visit.

We loved how spacious and clean our room was, with a comfortable bed and pillows, a roomy bathroom and plenty of space for clothes. Everything felt carefully thought out. The family running the place were very friendly and helpful, and the calm, cozy atmosphere made us want to relax at the hotel instead of heading out. Breakfast was unlike any I’d had before: made and served individually for each guest, very tasty, and generous in size. We highly recommend staying here and trying food from the menu.
