The traditional Greek food felt homemade, and the service was great. Definitely try the mojito shrimps. We ordered them as a starter and immediately wished we'd got three portions as our main course. They disappeared before we could take another photo!

The apartment is modern, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with what you need for either a short or longer stay. It's right across the street from the beach, though having a car is better. The owners are friendly and helpful, and shared plenty of information about the area and nearby beaches.

We spent 20 days at "Votsalo," and for five of those days two other couples and their children were staying nearby. It's only a kilometer from Ierapetra, right beside the sea, with lovely views and easy beach access. The White, Blue, and Grey apartments are stylish and have everything a family needs for a comfortable longer stay. They work well for couples too, and for families with kids. Ierapetra's mild winters and steady sunshine make this a place you could visit in any season. The complex felt warm and welcoming, was very clean, and had thoughtful details throughout. It became our first choice for holidays, and we'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable stay in Crete. Book and enjoy!
