DREPANOS Camping

We spent five days here as a family and found it peaceful and lovely. The sea and beach were clean and beautiful, and the bathrooms and toilets were also clean and well kept. The grounds could use a little more care. All the staff were warm and friendly. Thank you so much!

I'm commenting on the beach, the sea, and the sun lounges, not the camping. The lounges were fine, the coffee was good, and the young woman looking after them was friendly. The water, though, was so dirty that it was hard to believe toilets weren't being emptied into it. It was disgusting, and none of us put our heads under the water. A beach and sea with dirty water are no use to us. People locally, in Syvota too, blame the large ships, but I find that hard to believe. If the environment isn't looked after, tourists may eventually stop coming.

The beach is lovely, and the setting is charming, with huge eucalyptus trees giving plenty of shade. The facilities were fine, though the kitchen could be better, and the restaurant portions felt small for what they cost. The main issue was how crowded and poorly organized everything was, especially the pitches and parking. Reception just says to park wherever you like, so it turns chaotic. Stationary caravans fill the first two rows, packed so close together that there's not even a meter between them.

A pleasant campsite right by the beach, with friendly staff and a nice beach bar and restaurant. The facilities are dated but clean, though the showers run out of hot water pretty quickly. The shop is okay, but small and not very well stocked.
