We'd booked seven days but left after just three nights. There were lots of jellyfish in the sea, and some of us got stung while swimming. That serious problem led us to change hotels and move elsewhere. The place itself seems nice apart from that, but the jellyfish were a major concern for us and had a big effect on our stay.

The apartment wasn't in the main building. It was directly above the taverna, with open views of the sea. Pharos Rooms are clean, well equipped, and outstanding value. They're run by the same lovely family as the Ilia Mare Hotel next door, where breakfast is served if you choose that option. We did, and recommend it. The family also owns a lovely taverna about 150 metres away. Ilia is a peaceful, beautiful fishing village about 9km from Edipsos. We visited out of season, and it still made a lovely base for exploring the area. Edipsos is a 10 minute drive away, with its thermal springs and baths, plus shops, bars, and restaurants.

In a quiet, beautiful hamlet, the rooms are spotless, with spectacular sea views and waves you can hear. Each has a functional kitchenette and a well-equipped bathroom. Georgia and her team are welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. Pharos Rooms are a wonderful choice near Loutra Edipsos. Highly recommend.

We were lucky to find a room at faros, since it sells out quickly. The spacious enough balcony and the room both had a wonderful sea view, and the beach was literally a one-minute walk away. The room itself was on the small side, though we were told the others are substantially larger. A better price might make up for the size difference. There were also interior stairs leading to the bathroom, which could be a problem for some people. Even so, we had an excellent stay.

Dina and Mary welcomed us like family, and nothing seemed too demanding for them. The staff and service were great, the views incredible, and the hotel was clean and in a great location. Pharos room is part of Ilia Mare Hotel, a superb 3 star hotel. It has its own beach and sunbed, with food and drinks served on the beach during the day. The food from the beach service and Pharos restaurant was top-notch, with generous portions and very fresh ingredients. Most of the vegetables come from the owner's farm. You really must visit PHAROS RESTAURANT for dinner. Try Fotis grilled fish, I've never tasted anything better. Can't wait to come back.
