Agora Boutique Apartments Ioannina

Everything inside the apartment was fine, and it was very clean. But the location was horrible for getting any rest. It’s on a narrow street lined with bars where young people gather to party, so sleep is about the last thing you can do there. I stayed one night, and if you want to rest, don’t book for a weekend starting Friday.

The apartment was clean, with an interesting interior and a comfortable bed. Our bedroom was entirely underground, so it may not suit anyone who doesn’t like being in a room without windows. That was a minor issue, though. The real problem was being so close to places where young people go out at night. The apartment windows face those night cafes, and with them closing at 3-4 in the morning, sleeping was impossible.

The apartment was clean, in a good spot in town, and friendly to animals. It was fairly comfortable too, but we got no peace because there are so many licensed venues nearby. Students were drinking and singing until after 5am. The noise was unbearable, so at 05.15 I went over to the bar beside our bedroom window and asked them to turn the music off and tell the students to be quiet, since people nearby were trying to sleep. Other places around there had live music into the early hours too. We booked two nights and it left us drained. Parking was nearby at 3euros a day.

A clean, well equipped apartment near the town center, with a very comfortable mattress. Special thanks to the hostess for welcoming us even at 4 after midnight. We’d made a last minute reservation because of a car problem.
