Iokasof Rooms

👍💝

There was no air conditioning in the room.

This experience felt false, to say the least. I spoke by phone with "Mrs" Christina about booking three nights over Clean Monday at IOKASOF ROOMS. When we arrived, she said she had put us at sofias hotel instead, a decision she’d made herself without explaining it to us. She had also demanded full payment right after the booking call, which I found unprecedented for accommodation. Then she blamed us, saying we’d made a mistake and were trying to mislead her. After that accusation, she threatened to call the tourist police. It seemed to me she was trying to cover up her own booking mistake, especially since she had made more than 3 diversions on her own phone. She asked me to show the number I’d called in my call history, which was IOKASOF ROOMS. Even then she accused us of calling sofias hotel, called us liars, and said I’d deleted the record. Meanwhile, she kept grabbing my phone from my hands. She seemed pleased to tell us that we wouldn’t find anywhere else to stay in Ioannina because of the dates. When we finally said we’d write a review, she returned our money and threw us out. Tragic behavior. How can you call her a professional? Be very careful!

The "manager" made a homophobic insult! After I booked a double room at the Iokasof hotel for my best friend and me, Mrs. Christina, who introduced herself as the manager, asked us more than three times whether we were a couple. We had already told her we were just friends. She then said she wasn’t homophobic and had only asked in case we had a child with us. We had requested a double bed and told her it would just be the two of us, and that we were best friends. I’ve traveled for over 10 years and nobody has ever asked me anything like that. It left a really bad impression. Mrs. Christina’s manner was awful, and I wouldn’t choose this place.
