For our four-day trip to Ioannina, this hotel worked out really well. The location is right in the middle of town, on a street with most of the restaurants and coffee places, and the lake is only a two- to three-minute walk away. Banks and ATMs are across the street too. Our room was clean and warm, with everything we needed, and room service was quick. The staff were professional, polite, and genuinely pleasant. Breakfast was included in the price, though we didn't try it because dinner left us too full to want food early in the morning. Thanks for looking after us!

We never needed the car once we arrived. The hotel is on the main road, easy to reach by car, and it was simple to unload our bags or find nearby parking. The center and old town are only a few hundred meters away, so everything was walkable. Our room was brand new, spacious, and spotless, and the free upgrade to a deluxe room was fantastic. The staff were so accommodating. Special thanks to Vasilis for his dinner suggestions and help planning the day. He even came in extra early the next morning so we could have breakfast before leaving. He clearly cares a lot about his work and making sure guests have a great stay. Truly a 10 out of 10 choice for Ioannina!

The hotel was the highlight of our two days in Ioannina. It was clean and roomy, and the staff were outstanding. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and you could reach wherever you wanted to go on foot. I highly recommend it, and I'm not easily impressed.

The location was brilliant, and we'd love to come back. We especially appreciated the friendly, attentive staff, with Vassilis taking such good care of us and being the best hotelier ever. We loved our two nights at Hotel Metropolis, with a beautiful, high-quality room and an excellent breakfast included.
