Far Out Hotel & Spa

The front desk woman was so kind when we needed change for the bus. She even reached into her own purse to help us out, so we gave her a nice tip later that night. The employees were lovely and the service was the best. Come stay here, it’s amazing!

The beach is a short walk away, and the location is genuinely good. The staff were kind and tried to help, but they seemed lost when we brought them a serious problem. They eventually gave us compensation, though it felt like a quick fix after we kept complaining. There wasn’t much effort to act before guests raised a fuss. Our first room reeked of sewage. They tried to sort it out, but nothing worked, and after we pushed again they moved us to another room that thankfully didn’t have the same smell. Breakfast was technically available, but those yellow-grey scrambled eggs looked so bad I wouldn’t go near them. Friendly staff and good beach access, but be prepared for a smelly room and don’t count on much help if an issue comes up.

The balcony was huge, with a couch, a table and chairs, and a beautiful view of the beach. We also liked the rooms, pool, and very nice staff. It’s a good option if you want to stay near the beach party area without being at Far Out Beach Club, and it felt like a big improvement on our stay at Far Out Beach Club. We were led to think at check-in that breakfast was included, then had to pay for it at the end because our room didn’t cover it. We’d have been fine paying if we’d known, or we could have eaten somewhere else.

The view across the Cyclades is beautiful, and we’ll certainly come back. Sarah and Sophia greeted us with warm smiles and were helpful throughout our stay. Sophia at breakfast always made sure we started the day smiling, while Mira kept our room clean each morning without disturbing us when we stayed in bed. Sam at reception was great to chat with in the evening. It’s truly one of the nicest hotels in the Cyclades, with a warm welcome and consistently lovely service.
