Glaros

I’d happily stay here again. It’s right by the beach, the owners are so welcoming, and the whole place felt like home. Breakfast was really good, especially the homemade French fries. Gianni, Mariliza and Niko made the holiday unforgettable. ♥️❣️

We were at Glaros Hotel in the port of Ios during the first week of July 2024, and I’d recommend it. The beach out front is clean and lovely, with free sunbeds and umbrellas for hotel guests, so there’s no need to drive elsewhere for a swim. The sea view is hard to beat, and the rooms have been recently renovated with a fridge and hairdryer. Our double room was small but nicely decorated, and didn’t have a kitchen or coffee machine. Rooms are cleaned daily, towels are changed daily, and sheets every three days. Breakfast costs extra but is quite inexpensive, and there’s a coffee shop and snack bar at the front of the hotel. The owners are kind and helpful, especially Marilisa, and made us feel at home.

I can’t speak to the hotel itself, but the sunbed service was excellent. And the fresh fried potatoes with the club sandwich were a great surprise, you don’t come across that often.

That ocean view from the clean, modern room was beautiful. My girlfriend and I felt right at home, thanks to the owners treating us like family and giving us such kind service. It’s a lovely quiet spot, with a beautiful beach just outside and only a three-minute walk from the port. We also had fresh, handmade breakfast every morning. For us, it was the best beach on Ios. Thanks for such a lovely stay, we’ll definitely come back! ☺️😍
