The location was brilliant, with shops and bars nearby and a bus stop close by for getting to the beach. It’s a family-run hotel, and the husband and wife who run it were so helpful and ready to do anything for their guests. My wife and I had an amazing stay and would definitely return if we visit Ios again. Beautiful place, thanks for having us at golden star.

We had a great stay. Everything was really clean and the service was good, plus the swimming pool was amazing. We’re definitely coming back next year!

Maria and Mixali made us feel so welcome. The rooms are the usual Greek island style, with old-fashioned beds that were still comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. The pool was a lovely place to spend a recovery day or get out of the wind, and Tino makes great coffee and club sandwiches. Prices were fair compared with other places and their better rooms.

We spent three nights here and felt like part of the family business. Micheal and Maria were wonderful hosts, and the location is great for Chora. Our room was clean and modern, and the pool with its poolside bar was excellent. I couldn’t fault our stay and would recommend it to anyone. 👍😁

The staff were lovely and kind, and whenever we needed something, they helped with a smile. Golden Star was a pleasure to stay at, with a good location and price. I highly recommend spending some time there.
