Ipsos Pool Apartments, Elena & Maria by Konnect

Maria, one of the owners, was amazing and friendly. She always greeted us with a smile. The location was more than fine for seeing the northern half of the island, and the price felt fair for what you get. There’s a pool and private parking. The studio kitchen was very poorly equipped, and the electric hob took ages to reach full heat. People near the pool made a lot of noise in the afternoon. Elena, one of the owners, was rude. The Wi-Fi and shower temperature were both inconsistent. There was also an accommodation tax to pay in cash, but we only found out from a note on the door on our last day, with no advance notice at all. 3/5

A nice, quiet room with a kitchenette, a short distance from ipsos and the beach.

We had a good stay, and the air conditioning worked fine. Elena was helpful enough, though at times she came across as annoyed and wasn't very courteous. The rooms were clean. During our nine days, housekeeping took out the rubbish every 3-4 days and cleaned once, on the fourth day. The kitchen is tiny and has only the basics, plus a toaster and kettle. Its two hotplates are slow, especially the larger one, so cooking took a long time and needed at least an hour of planning. The location works well if you have a car, and the center is also within walking distance, around a 10-15 minute drive away. The street gets dark at night, but there is indoor parking.

We had a quiet, charming stay in this little apartment in August. It had the essentials, and the pool was lovely and stayed open into the evening. The owners were friendly, and there was nothing we felt we needed to complain about. A car would make getting around easier.
