Kristina is an amazing, friendly host who goes out of her way to make guests feel at home. The hotel is in a beautiful, very quiet spot in Ireon, with the ocean visible from the breakfast room and our balcony. Breakfast was healthy and had fresh orange juice, fruit salad, tomato salad with basil, homemade jams, cheese, ham, turkey, salami, and Greek honey. Our room was a comfortable size, the beds were good quality, and everything was very, very clean, with daily room service. There’s a very good restaurant next door where we enjoyed a wonderful typical Greek mezzedes dinner. We’d stay again and recommend it for your trip.

Hotel Cohyli is a peaceful haven if you need a break from the rush of daily life. The restaurant serves mouth-watering local food, and every meal became a memorable part of our stay. From the moment I arrived, Christina made me feel at home. She’s authentic, fun, and full of vibrant energy. If you want an authentic experience with a bit of charm and fun, I highly recommend staying here. Once Christina welcomes you, you’ll be planning your next visit before checkout. Christina and her family have welcomed us for years, and each stay feels like coming home. The hotel is close to the center of Ireon, but the surroundings are very quiet. Christina makes fresh breakfast every day, gives you ideas for what to do, and helps out with any problems. The rooms, including the air conditioning, are cleaned daily. She runs the hotel in such a pleasant way that it feels like a holiday with a Greek family. You couldn’t ask for more vacation.

Christina gave us coffee with a big smile when we arrived, and our room was ready even though we were two hours earlier than the time we’d told her. It was clean and prepared, with a small balcony where we could see the sea and mountains. She cleaned every day, so the beds, floor, bathroom, and balcony were all clean when we got back from our trips. Breakfast was good: fresh orange juice, coffee, bread, cheese, ham, salami, vegetables, fruit, homemade marmalade, and something special from Christina each day, like eggs, sweets, or Greek yogurt with honey. She’s friendly and polite, and knows a lot about the island, so she can give advice if you need it. We were happy we chose this family hotel in a calm town, less touristy than Pythagorion but still close to every big town in Samos. We spent 10 beautiful days here and got close to Christina and her family. It was hard to leave. We chose Cohyli Hotel in Ireon for our trip to Samos because it seemed like a great base for exploring the island.
