The sunrise from the top floor is lovely, and the hosts are welcoming and very helpful. The place is basic, inexpensive, clean, and functional, and we’d be happy to return. I’m fussy about cleanliness and was very pleased. Mosquitoes are something to prepare for, though local shops have plenty of repellent options. You can’t flush toilet paper here, but that’s common in the area. If you’ll use the kitchen, bring a sponge and kitchen towel. Clothes can be washed on the balcony, but bring pegs because there aren’t any. The nearest bars and restaurants are 20m away, groceries are across the road, and the quieter, more natural beach is about 5-10 minutes away.

The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, with shops and other places all within easy walking distance. Miss Dennis has such a kind, big heart, and the rest of the family are just as lovely. Deana works so hard cleaning the rooms every day, always with a smile. They all did so much to support us, and I’m grateful. It’s extremely good value, and I already miss seeing Miss Dennis’s smile each morning. I’d recommend staying here to anyone.

Getting in was straightforward: we followed a note to call the number provided, or go to a nearby bar after 6pm. The place was clean, with air conditioning included in the price, and it was cleaned daily.

Absolutely terrible. After just the first night, I had flea bites all over my arms and legs, and even on my face. They did nothing about it and didn’t even offer a discount on the room. I also never got my change back after paying.
