The best part might be the adorable, sweet cat who lives here 🥰. I stayed on my own for eight days and was pleasantly surprised, especially after seeing a mix of good and bad reviews. The brothers were always friendly, smiling or saying hello whenever I came or went. My room was basic but had everything I needed. It was cleaned daily, they even did my dishes, and I got fresh towels twice. The shower took a while to heat up, though that may be normal in a larger hotel. There are lots of plants and nice decorations, which made it a pleasant place to sit. The pool was a decent size, and the sunbeds were very cozy, with no extra charge like they might have at other hotels. I also liked being able to shut the window shutters and make the room really dark at night. Some noise came through the walls, but it never went on late. The location was handy, with both shops and the beach within walking distance. I had dinner here on my last day and enjoyed it. My one small gripe was the public toilet: there were no toilet seats and no way to lock the door. I was leaving in the late afternoon and had checked out earlier, so that was the only toilet I could use. My transfer bus didn’t show, and I couldn’t get through to Sunweb. I was nearly going to be late, but one of the brothers called around to find out what was happening. It wasn’t his job, since that was Sunweb’s responsibility, but he reached someone and they came to pick me up. Apparently the driver had forgotten me. Thanks to the brother, I just caught my flight, and I’m extremely grateful.

A quiet, intimate hotel with a really relaxed feel. The two brothers are always happy and helpful. They’ve made a beautiful, lovely place.

I only had two nights at 2 Brothers Apartments during a quick stop in the Greek islands, before going to the mainland for my cousin’s wedding. I really wish I’d had more time there. The apartment was clean and cozy, with a relaxed, welcoming feel, and the hospitality and setting were both lovely. It made me fall in love with the island. Even a short visit left a lasting impression, and I’ll be back next year for a much longer stay. I’d recommend it to anyone after a peaceful, charming place in Greece. 🌅💙

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s a nice budget choice, the place was clean, and the owners were friendly and polite. We liked the breakfast too.

I strongly advise against booking here, especially if you’re of North African or African origin. From the moment I arrived, the welcome felt cold: no smiles or friendliness, just a heavy atmosphere. Other tourists I spoke with said they had a similar impression, particularly those from diverse backgrounds. It was nearly 38 degrees outside, but the room hadn’t been cooled in advance. It felt stiflingly hot inside, at least 50°C, and there wasn’t even cold water in the fridge. Everything had to be paid for separately, including air conditioning at $7 a day, which I found unacceptable in weather over 95°F at that time of year. The apartment and pool didn’t look like the website photos to me. The complex seemed run down and poorly maintained, with a tiny, dirty pool, broken deck chairs, and umbrellas I couldn’t use. The room was extremely small, poorly soundproofed and barely equipped. There were no blackout curtains on the door, the shower was tiny with a cheap curtain that stuck to my skin, and there were very few dishes. I asked for a salad bowl, a toaster and a better blackout curtain. The owner’s son curtly said they didn’t have them, as if I were asking for the moon. He suggested putting a bath towel over the door, but then what was I supposed to dry myself with? Whenever I asked for something, the owners seemed annoyed. Their attitude felt contemptuous, and it was obvious to me that they didn’t want to help. I asked about a bus to the airport, and the owner categorically said there wasn’t one and insisted I’d have to take a taxi for €18 to €20. There was a poster at reception with bus times, though it only ran until the end of June. I checked the transport company’s website myself and found that the trip was possible with a change in Zakynthos. I believe he deliberately lied to make me take a taxi. The day before leaving, I asked if I could keep the room a little longer because my transfer was at 1:30 p.m. They told me to ask again in the morning. When I did, I was curtly told checkout was at 11 a.m., period. There was no flexibility. On departure day, I was talking with two Belgian tourists about the airport bus and showing them the timetable poster. The owner came by, and when I told him it was out of date and he had lied to me, he looked at me with blatant contempt and said I couldn’t read. Then he called the two young men next to me “monkeys,” told us to “go back to our country,” and threatened to call the police. As I was leaving, he came back and called me “crazy.” The whole stay was deeply shocking. I found the owners unpleasant, dishonest and cold, as well as openly racist and misogynistic. I can’t accept that this behavior is still tolerated in 2025 at a place meant to welcome tourists from around the world. I expressly ask booking platforms such as Sunweb to remove this establishment from their listings. By continuing to list it, they are condoning this discriminatory behavior.
