Achinos - Kalamata Mediterranean Suites

The breakfast at the restaurant across the street was a letdown, and the service there could have been warmer. But I absolutely loved my stay at Achinos, and it was easily my best decision in Kalamata. The reception team were kind and incredibly helpful throughout. The apartment felt peaceful after a hot summer day, even though the location was central. It’s just two minutes from the beach, with restaurants around and a supermarket right downstairs. My favourite part was the spacious balcony, where I could relax, dry clothes or catch a partial sea view. The smart AC worked perfectly, and housekeeping kept everything spotless. It’s a bit pricier than other places nearby, but worth it for me. The apartment was brand new, beautifully designed and had everything I needed: a large wardrobe, comfy sofa bed, great desk, iron, espresso machine, wine glasses, corkscrew and a well-equipped shower with fresh towels. There was even complimentary wine and chilled water in the fridge. I can’t wait to return to Achinos. Highly, highly recommended!

We enjoyed dinner at Poseidon restaurant, a short walk from Achino Hotel, and watched the sunset over the beachfront. The place was new, clean and comfortable, and a great base for exploring lively, lovely Kalamata. Highly recommend.

The staff welcomed us warmly, and the property was kept very clean throughout. It’s also conveniently close to the nearest beaches, with places like Pylos easy to reach by car and absolutely worth the drive. The hotel has been renovated with a refined style and attention to detail. The rooms feel modern and comfortable, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. A great base for exploring the region in comfort.

The staff welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home as soon as we arrived. At Achinos - Kalamata Mediterranean Suites, everything felt carefully looked after, from the spotless, stylish suites with their Mediterranean feel to the comfortable beds and complimentary local wine. The location made it easy to get to Kalamata’s lively city centre, yet the atmosphere at the property was peaceful and relaxing. A lovely choice for a romantic break or a quiet getaway. Highly recommend Achinos!
