The kitchen had everything we needed to cook vegetables from the farmer’s market, though you’ll need to bring your own seasonings. We also appreciated the Apivita bathroom products, a lovely Greek cosmetics brand. Each morning, fresh bread, pastries, yogurt, cheese, ham, fruit, and eggs were provided, and the apartment was cleaned daily. The hosts were attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout. We arrived to delicious Kalamata olives and olive oil, and trying them with local tomatoes and cheese gave us a real sense of the food of this place. Our questions about olives led to fascinating conversations about local culture, which we’re grateful for. The setting, surrounded by olive groves and overlooking Kalamata, the sea, and even the opposite coast, was unforgettable, especially at sunset. It was one of the most thoughtful, generous, and authentic stays we’ve had. We’d love to return and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Nadia, the host, went out of her way to meet our needs, and the daily cleaning and plentiful fresh breakfast were great. The view across the whole Kalamata bay was spectacular. I travel to Greece every summer and have never stayed in such a beautiful, clean, well organized place. Some people might find access a bit difficult, but I don’t see why: it’s a paved road leading to a heavenly view. Highly recommended!!!

That flat tire on our departure day could have been a real problem, but Nadia sent her kind father over to help as soon as we asked. We stayed seven nights in Bay view and were very happy there. Nadia and her mother were wonderful hosts, and the apartment was beautifully furnished and kept spotless with daily cleaning. They left good-quality breakfast food each day, including little extras like bakery pastries. Having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the bay was such a lovely way to start the morning. We'd definitely come back.

The woman who welcomed us said she was the owner's mother, and she was so kind, checking in to see if we had everything we needed. There was also a fridge stocked with plenty of breakfast food. The apartments are in an amazing spot, pristine and clearly well looked after. I loved our stay and would choose this place again if I get the chance to return.
