Solimar White Pearl Adults Only - All Inclusive

The staff are what really made this stay special. Christos, Giorgio, Krista, Eleftheria, John, Katerina, and Marina were all warm, attentive, and helpful, whether we saw them at reception, by the pool, or at meals. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and we had a wonderful week. We loved the live music evenings, and there was always something enjoyable to eat, including good vegetarian and pescatarian choices. A little more variety in the food would have been nice. The hotel is right on the beach, with enough sunbeds for everyone. Our room was lovely and Kristina kept it spotless every day. The bed was two single mattresses pushed together, which wasn’t ideal, but otherwise it was very comfortable. Staff gave us great tips for cafés, bakeries, and beaches. There’s a bus stop nearby with a direct ride to Chania that takes about 30 minutes. A car is handy for seeing more of the island; we rented one for a day and had a fantastic time exploring Crete. We’d love to return soon. The hotel is great value, and we felt looked after throughout.

I especially enjoyed the spacious, spotless rooms, the comfortable bed, and the lovely decor. The hotel also had a well-equipped gym and a beautiful pool area. Breakfast came with plenty of choices, and the restaurant served delicious meals with excellent service. Solimar white pearl is in a fantastic spot, with great views and easy access to nearby attractions. The staff were welcoming and did a lot to make my stay comfortable. It exceeded my expectations from beginning to end. I’d highly recommend it for a luxurious, memorable stay, and I’ll definitely come back. Henrik☺️

The bathroom was the main downside. Shower water had nothing to stop it spreading, and after two quick 5-minute showers the whole bathroom was flooded, with water even leaking out the front door. The toilet door was glass and didn’t lock, so sounds carry pretty easily. It’s poorly designed, so be ready to make a dam with spare towels. Apart from that, I was very happy with my stay. The hotel was lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The food and drinks were about what I expected from an all-inclusive. There was a good selection, including quite a few cocktails, but the food quality suffers a bit from the size of the choice, and the cocktail ingredients weren’t great.

Our room was FULL of gnats, so relaxing was impossible, and the bathroom had glass walls. There’s only one small pool. Although this hotel says it’s all-inclusive, meal times are very limited and food runs out within 30 minutes, before all the guests can get enough. The beach bar had very little food. This was a huge disappointment, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
