Everything we needed was there, and the amenities were clean. We got a friendly welcome, too. The one-bedroom apartment has a cozy balcony with a sea view and a nice breeze. The beach and Kalamata’s social life are just steps away, with cafes, mini markets, restaurants, a bus station, and local shops around the corner. Definitely recommend it.
We stayed in September 2020 and really liked the apartment. The owner was very proper, and the location was great. Kalamata is well worth a visit, with lovely weather and water, and we’d gladly return again and again.
Nancy welcomed us, handed over the key, and stayed in touch by message. Towels and slippers were provided, which was a nice touch. The apartment was tidy and very clean, with everything we needed, including a handy coffee machine. I was surprised by the size of the balcony, which had enough room for my morning HIIIT workout. The location was spot on, close to the beach bars, restaurants, and day beds, with a mini supermarket two minutes away and good fresh produce. The weather was perfect, around 26-30 degrees, and the sea was warm. As it was toward the end of the season, it wasn’t busy. A taxi to the old town cost 4 Euros, where we found history, culture, good restaurants, and shops. We’ve just come back from a fabulous week at Balsam Suite in Kalamata, and I’d recommend it for a long weekend or even a few weeks. Don’t hesitate to book!
The view over Kalamata beach is fantastic, and the location is amazing. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and communication with the host was efficient. I’d definitely recommend it!
