Aeolic Star Hotel

There's a grocery store right next door, and it's easy to get to the bus station, information center and nearby restaurants. The hotel is right in the center of town. Staff were very friendly, and our room was clean and fantastic, with a view of the mountains.

The walls are covered with interesting pictures, and the interior has a lot of character. Breakfast had a good selection: cereal, pastries, Greek salad, Greek yoghurt, boiled eggs, bread, ham and cheese. The room was a little small but clean. The big drawback for me was the very strong cigarette smell in the hallways.

Our top-floor room was cozy and beautiful, and the view was amazing. The hotel is ideally located, about an 8-minute walk from the central station.

We only needed somewhere simple to sleep, so the small room was okay. Cleanliness was the real problem. There was a dirty glass in the room, and a clump of someone else's hair stuck to a towel. The replacement towel had mascara marks, so they had to bring yet another one. The receptionist also seemed off to us, possibly drunk or on drugs. She spoke slowly and unclearly, then watched the guests while they ate breakfast.
