We felt at home from the start, and the bright, comfortable space has lots of personality. You can tell care went into the details. The host was friendly, easy to talk to, and always cheerful. His local advice helped us find places we wouldn't have discovered ourselves. We have lovely memories from our stay and would definitely come back.

House #1 sits beautifully at the foot of Meteora, with a spacious terrace at ground level behind the house. It is very well furnished and works well for six people or more.

We stayed four nights at Anna Maria Family House 2. The location made exploring easy: it's close to the monasteries, a short walk from the town center, and near restaurants and shops. Inside, everything was very clean, including the kitchen and dishes. The bathroom is modern and comfortable, with plenty of hot water. There's a washing machine, but no dishwasher. The beds and sofas, unfortunately, were very hard and uncomfortable. The landlord can't be held responsible for the noise. A construction site just a few meters away started unloading iron bars at 6:30 a.m., then came hammering, banging, and other noise. The house also seems poorly soundproofed, since you can hear everything from the apartment below.

These are two separate ground-floor apartments joined next to each other. Apartment 1 has a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette; Apartment 2 has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen-dining-living room. From the photos, we thought it was one apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Apartment 2 was clean, well equipped, and met our expectations. I highly recommend it. Apartment 1 didn't work for us: its bed is on a mezzanine where you can't stand, reached by a very narrow spiral staircase. Going to the bathroom at night is a major inconvenience. I wouldn't stay there again.
