The receptionist was so kind and helpful, and the location is close to everything. It was the cheapest place I found, but still above my expectations. The hostel was cozy and comfortable, with a great kitchen that had everything you need. The bathroom was very clean, and the rooms were cozy too. The mattress was good, there were curtains, and they gave you a towel during your stay. You can do laundry for €4.

The staff are stunning, just like the location, and they’re great to talk to about transport to different places. They’re happy to accommodate what you need. They even said I could come back to them for help if my bus connection to Albania didn’t work out. Homely hostel. 100% recommend.

The house itself is nothing special, but it has everything you need. What made it the best hostel of my Balkan trip was the really big, well-kept kitchen, a very nice community room, and awesome staff. Kostas is such a lovely person, and volunteer Heike was really kind and looked after everyone.

We joined some of the other guests to explore the scenery together, and it turned into a wonderful trip. I’d been unsure where to stay in Kalambaka, but choosing the Holy Rock was the right call. The rooms were comfortable and the staff crew were very nice. Thanks, guys. I’d love to come back someday 💚

Excellent value for money, and recommended. It’s a very friendly, comfortable hostel close to Meteora, with lovely staff, good beds, laundry facilities and a kitchen.
