The decor was beautiful, with lots of lovely little details, and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed breakfast and had an amazing one-night stay. Meteora was also close by.

I loved the feel of staying in a historic home. Breakfast was made up of local foods, and the staff were super friendly. I highly recommend this place.

The hotel was in a good location and clean, and breakfast was okay. But the glass shower door in our room fell and shattered when my mother-in-law got out of the shower, leaving her with small cuts all over. Thankfully it didn't land directly on her. The crash was heard throughout the hotel, and housekeeping came up right away. We were panicking when we went downstairs to speak with the owner/manager. She was rude, completely unsympathetic and unapologetic. We were told there were no rooms available to move us to, which was fine, but she didn't apologize or offer any compensation. Her cold, dismissive attitude is the reason I'm writing this. We've never been treated this way anywhere else, and perhaps she shouldn't be in the tourism business. Luckily, our tour operator was amazing and fought for us the next morning. They told us to deduct the room fee from the tour cost and said they'd talk to the hotel to recover it later.

Nikki was a lovely host, making sure we had what we needed and plenty to eat at breakfast. The service was fantastic, and we had a lovely stay in this quaint, cute hotel. It's a beautiful spot in Kalambala, just a quick walk from the main streets of Kalabaka, with its great tavernas and stores.
