Kathisma Sunset Villlas

We spent three nights there and really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and lovely views, especially at sunset.

Everything felt covered, much like a five-star resort. The villa had a wonderful view, the service was very good, and the cleaning was perfect.

The hosts were welcoming, professional, and ready to help whenever we needed something. We appreciated all the little touches during our stay. The villa was comfortable and very clean, and the sea and sunset views at Kathisma Sunset Villas in Lefkada were even better than we expected. We had a great stay. Thank you!

The beautiful view, dependable Wi-Fi, and quiet surroundings were the good parts, though at €300 a night those felt like basic expectations. We visited at the end of May, just as the season was beginning, when there didn’t seem to be high occupancy or a heavy workload. We had paid in advance, and when we said the price didn’t seem justified given the missing basics and services, the owner told us we could leave that first day and find somewhere else if we didn’t like it. I left genuinely disappointed that people in hospitality could still show so little empathy, professionalism, or basic respect to guests in 2026. I wouldn’t recommend the property because of the way we were treated and the overall experience, not because of the building itself. Very disappointing. At check-in, things seemed fine. We said goodbye to Mrs. Sofia and Mr. Christos, who had been very kind while handling the booking, but what followed was quite different. The owner’s attitude and behavior made this one of my worst experiences. She was rude, unprofessional, and so ill-mannered I could hardly believe what I was hearing. There was no bottled drinking water, even though the tap water isn’t drinkable. We found one partly used toilet paper roll and one spare for the whole property, and no kitchen paper towels despite the fully equipped kitchen. The coffee machine didn’t work. I told the owner after getting up at 6:30 a.m. hoping to have coffee and study, and she simply said to go buy one in Agios Nikitas. We were never clearly told that cleaning wasn’t included in the €300 nightly rate, and one of the two bathrooms was dirty when we arrived. Also, having a pool doesn’t by itself make a house a “villa.”
