There’s lots of free parking, friendly staff, and even friendly cats around the house. The internet wasn’t great, though I think that may be down to the connection in the area. The place is clean and cosy, with plenty of plants, and in a great spot in Kalamitis and on Lefkada. Two great tavernas are a two-minute walk away, along with a lovely coffee-bar-grill-restaurant in the garden and two mini-markets selling fruit, vegetables, and everything you need.

Lenia was so friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. We’d booked four days, but when I asked if we could leave after two, it was no problem and we only paid for the nights we stayed. The room was big and clean, and we really liked it. A mosquito net would’ve been nice, but at least we had hot water, which some hotels we’d stayed at in Greece during our tour didn’t have. Lefkada has lots of beautiful beaches, but we found the trip to them difficult with a little child and a baby. We came for the island, rather than the nice hotel, which is pretty close to a playground, or Lenia’s friendly, helpful service. If I visit Lefkada again, I’d stay there again.

There’s lots to explore around here, including Kathisma beach, Milos beach, and an 8 islands ship tour. We still have two days left and so far the experience has been really pleasing. It can get a bit cold at night, which feels nice, so there’s no need for the A/C. The owners are friendly and very helpful, although they don’t speak English very well. There are plenty of free parking places nearby, the oven and stove work great, and Wi-Fi is free. The apartments could use more attention to cleaning. Recommended for family vacations!

The route up to the apartments is tricky, with narrow stretches and curves. Once there, though, these are lovely places for a holiday. We found the studios very comfortable, and the owners are cheerful, good people. We did have a small issue in the bathroom.
