Patrika Traditional House

The village turned out to be a lovely surprise, and the house made it easy to explore beaches and other spots in the south. The terrace was a great place to sit, the village house feel was charming, and it was comfortable for our family of 4. We found the kitchen had the utensils we needed, and the sheets and towels were clean. The restaurant downstairs served nice food and had live music on Fridays and Sundays while we were there. Our host was quick to answer messages, and was flexible when I needed to change our dates, even though we never met in person. A neighbour pointed us to the school car park about 100m away, which made parking easy. I'm not sure whether it can be used in winter too. The route Google Maps gave us led along a rough road. Setting the destination to the bus stop at the location's left corner brought up the main road, which is the way to go if you don't want a difficult drive in a rental car. Cleaning could have been better. The fridge and the sinks in the kitchen and downstairs toilet were dirty, and dust had gathered on the decorations. The downstairs bathroom had little or no soap, and there was nowhere to hang the shower head, which made showering a bit awkward. The Wi-Fi signal in the house was very weak.
