Our meals were a highlight at Istira Hotel. We had breakfast and dinner included, and both were generous and fresh. Dinner felt different each evening, from grilled fresh fish to stuffed peppers and tender venison with golden roasted potatoes. It started with Greek salad and an appetizer, and I especially loved the filo-wrapped cheese. Dessert was a nice surprise every time, often homemade treats or candied orange slices instead of the usual cakes. The hosts also made us feel genuinely welcome. We got recommendations for beaches around Halkidiki, including the beautiful Possidi Cape with its wild, clear water, as well as local bars and restaurants. For my birthday, my partner arranged a surprise with the staff: they sang “Happy Birthday” during dinner, and I’ll always remember that. Our room on the first floor was spotless and cleaned every day, with fresh towels daily. The air conditioning was a real help after long days in the Greek summer heat. It’s about a 500-meter walk to the beach, but the calm grove view from the balcony made mornings and evenings feel special. We were welcomed warmly and checked in well before the official time, which was a thoughtful start to the stay. Possidi has won me over with its lovely coastal village feel, peaceful atmosphere, and natural beauty. Istira Hotel helped make the trip unforgettable. We’ll come back to Possidi and to the hotel, and I highly recommend it for comfort, good food, and Greek hospitality.

Set among lovely greenery, this small family-run hotel has high standards of cleanliness, and the towels are changed every day. Breakfast is plentiful, while dinner is traditional Greek food served in very generous portions. The ingredients are fresh, and we especially enjoyed the delicious jams and fruit sweets that kind Sofia makes herself. Her son Babis was ready with an answer to every question we had. Possidi beach is only a five-minute walk away. I can’t recommend this place enough if you want to experience Greek hospitality.

We loved the food, and being so close to the beach was great. The family-run hotel is quiet at night, reasonably priced, and suited to families with children. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, with a large garden and courtyard. Each room has a small terrace, where breakfast and dinner are served. We’ll definitely return.

ISTIRA POSSIDI has a lovely, peaceful feel, with kind, wonderful hosts and people who really know their way around the kitchen. They cook the food themselves and serve it with a smile and from the heart. The accommodation was extremely clean and quiet, and our spacious room had a terrace. Everything was superlative. A welcoming place for families, with a lovely garden and very nice people. I’m a really picky eater, probably even more than my 5 y/o daughter, but I enjoyed all the meals served at dinner. The WiFi was good enough for general office work and IPTV.
