The owner was kind and waited for us until 10:00 PM, as agreed. The rooms were ready when we arrived, and although the hotel isn't new, the room and the rest of the property were clean. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and bed linen, and we didn't see any insects during our stay. I recommend arranging a taxi in advance through Booking. The bathroom is older but perfectly clean. Breakfast had a good variety: several drinks, sweet pastries, toast, ham, cheese, butter, jam, hard-boiled eggs or an omelet with bacon, and both red and yellow watermelon. We missed having vegetables, but everything was regularly replenished, so there was plenty to eat. The pool was cleaned daily, and there's a seating area beside it for dinner or a drink. There was a small mix-up with one of our drinks, but it was sorted out with a smile. It's a lovely family-run hotel, and the beach is an easy two-minute walk along a flat path with no stairs or hills. The owner also arranged a very affordable scooter rental. The agent came to the hotel, answered my questions, took me to the rental office, and brought me back after I returned it. I paid for two days and got the previous evening free.

The pool paint turns your feet blue, and the shower sends water across the whole bathroom. The toilet won't flush, and there can be no running water for hours, including in the showers, taps, and toilets. Cleaning only happens if you ask, and even then they don't change the towels or empty the bin.

The staff made me feel welcome throughout my stay, and my room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was fine too. Sea Harmony Hotel is right by the beach, a peaceful escape from the busy areas, and it worked well as a base for seeing the whole island. Restaurants and shops are nearby as well. A good choice for a calm, refreshing break on Rhodes.

We ended up staying most of the day, eating and having drinks while the kids enjoyed the pool. We hadn't planned to find the place, we came across it by accident, but George and his family were so welcoming. When it was time to go, George called a taxi. After it took an extraordinary amount of time to arrive, he kindly offered to drive us back to our hotel himself. Do stop by for a drink with George. Amazing, and many thanks!
