Royal Hotel and Suites

We were five adults from the Netherlands and stayed for a week in early August. After leaving Germany and traveling overnight, we reached the hotel around 6:30 a.m. Our rooms weren't ready, but it was well arranged for us to leave our luggage in a central spot. At reception, though, we were told breakfast wasn't available because all-inclusive didn't begin until 10:00 a.m. We were stunned. The receptionist's only answer was that this was the protocol, so we went into the village for a sandwich and coffee at a bakery. We'd stayed at plenty of all-inclusive hotels, but had never been treated this way on arrival. The hotel is small and neat, the rooms clean and well maintained, and its limited capacity keeps things calm, including in the restaurant. The pool is small, so the sunbeds fill quickly. It's just off the main road, down a small street, with a spacious parking area behind the hotel that was very convenient for our rental car. Restaurant staff were all friendly, and the separate grill station was a welcome extra, though the buffet menu got monotonous. Cocktails and beer from the bar machine were very poor quality in our opinion. The all-inclusive setup also separates the regular and premium options, so some menu drinks cost extra. We had a fantastic holiday mainly because we drove around to explore the islands and beautiful villages. Having your own transport is really a must to see what Chalkidiki has to offer. The all-inclusive experience here was disappointing compared with other places we've stayed.

The whole staff were professional and friendly, and the restaurant always had a wide variety of food. Add rooms that were up to a good standard and the fairly short walk to both the beach and town centre, and it made for a really great holiday. Hopefully, till next time!

The shuttle to the nearby private beach made getting to the sea easy and enjoyable, while the small pool was quite enough for the number of guests. We were a group of six at Royal Hotel & Suites in Polichrono, Chalkidiki, and had a memorable all-inclusive holiday. Our modern, comfortable rooms were cleaned daily, and staff from reception, the bar, restaurant, and housekeeping were all kind, polite, and helpful. The restaurant had a huge range of tasty, fresh food, including turkey, pork, lamb, veal, fish, rabbit stew, Greek salad, olives, feta, Greek yogurt, and seasonal fruit like melon, pineapple, watermelon, and pears. The international team worked hard to make us feel special. Thank you very much! 🇬🇷❤️

We stayed for a week from 6th May 2025, with me, my husband, and my father. Manager Christos arranged a romantic surprise: red roses, champagne, and a necklace for me while our song played. It was lovely and romantic. The complex was spotless and well looked after, and the manager and staff were helpful, polite, and friendly. We had a swim-up room, which was clean and comfortable. The one letdown was the sun around the private pool area. It only reached the terrace and loungers early in the morning, then by about 10.00am moved onto the pool. My husband loves the sun, so he couldn't make much use of the pool outside our room and had to go to the main pool to get sun and swim. The food was good, though sometimes only lukewarm, and desserts were limited, with a small selection repeated. The area is very quiet, and a short walk takes you to the beach, bars, and restaurants.
