ARA Luxury Suites

I paid the full amount for a room through Expedia. My German isn't very good, and I accidentally pressed the cancellation button. Expedia staff told me the hotel could easily reactivate the booking, and they tried several times to reach the manager, but every request was rejected. I was left very disappointed and upset, having lost all my hard-earned savings. The hotel kept all my money. I suspect they resold the room and earned twice from it. They could have let me stay as a gesture of goodwill, but showed no flexibility. It seems to me that money matters more to this hotel than hospitality.

The housekeeping lady was so dedicated and positive. She worked tirelessly on her own to keep everything organized and spotless, and kindly checked whether we needed anything. She really made our stay exceptional, and we'll definitely come back.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Shops and restaurants were close by too, which made the location convenient. I'd happily stay here again and recommend it.

The bathroom situation was incredibly inconvenient and offered no privacy: the four of us had just one bathroom, and you had to walk through all the rooms to reach it. We were also given only one parking space. Cleanliness was questionable, promised amenities were missing or unusable, and the staff seemed disinterested and unqualified to deal with problems. We were deeply disappointed. The website photos don't match reality, and the place isn't worth its stars or its price. I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you don't want your vacation ruined.
