Aphrodite's Inn

The views of Kalavrita and the surrounding mountains are wonderful, especially when you wake up in the morning. The location is about 3 km uphill from the town center, with a large parking area that’s easy to reach. The owner was always around to help with information about places to visit or eat, and was happy to chat. Sorry, I can’t remember her name. This little hotel, or inn, is lovely in every way. Rooms are large enough for three adults, and the family rooms have plenty of space for four. They’re clean and have good mattresses, a hairdryer, towels, and all the bathroom accessories you might need, plus a small fridge and a kettle for tea or coffee. Breakfast is simple but delicious. A perfect five stars for either winter or summer.

Kanella, the cinnamon pony, was a lovely bonus, and we’ll definitely be back. The host, Maria, was kind, easy to communicate with, and incredibly accommodating. She accepted our last-minute booking and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The place was clean, tidy, and well equipped, with a beautiful view and a great location, about a 15-minute drive to the slopes. We had everything we could ask for at breakfast in that setting. Personally, I could barely ski after eating so much! Great value for money.

Our room had a separate sleeping area upstairs, which made it feel especially relaxing. It was cozy, with heat and hot water available at all times. There’s parking in front of the rooms, and the host and service were both very friendly and helpful. The location is close to Kalavryta’s center and the local monument. Breakfast was served each morning in a room with a lovely view over the area. Thanks again for the great hospitality!

I loved the tasty breakfast and amazing view, and the hotel was clean. It’s right beside a fir and spruce forest. One of the best hotels I’ve visited in Greece.
