Phaethon Apartments & Studios

Robert from the staff noticed water splashing onto our food while we ate on the balcony and dealt with it quickly before we even had to ask. The balcony was the only place with a table, and drops sometimes came down, possibly from cleaning or from guests above. Hanging clothes to dry along the balcony sides was also tricky because wet laundry from upstairs could drip onto ours. The staff were kind and helpful, which we appreciated. We still enjoyed our stay and found easy ways around the issues. The hotel is in a great central spot near the beach, though it could get noisy. There’s a large free parking lot nearby. The room was nice, and the small kitchen had good equipment but no extractor fan. The daily cleaning was excellent. We put out the card, and the staff cleaned thoroughly and carefully changed the sheets and towels. A few bathroom floor tiles were uneven or broken, so we watched our step and wore slippers, especially in the shower. There was no ventilation, but the small window helped. The flat shower floor and central drain left water and dirt in the corners. The beds and pillows weren’t very comfortable for us, but we managed. Wi-Fi and TV reception were sometimes unreliable. There were a few snags, but nothing major, and the overall stay was positive.

Good value for the money, with friendly owners and reception open all day. The rooms were clean and nice, and the bed was comfortable. It’s central but still quiet, and they arranged a parking spot for our car. The terrace is cute. Wi-Fi was a bit unstable at times.

You can walk to the beach and the area’s nightclubs from this central resort location. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped.

I’m pretty picky, but this place turned out better than I expected. I wanted somewhere decent in a good location, and found a professionally arranged rental. I’d recommend it to any kind of guest.
