The owner welcomed us in person, shared useful recommendations, and called directly when we got confused because the property is also called Annemona. That cleared things up quickly. The bed was comfortable and the space was clean, but our room, no.2, was far from what most of the Google photos showed. It had a very old bathroom and kitchenette, and the shower was terrible. Even the two terrace chairs were different from the pictures and really uncomfortable. I understand there may be renovations going on, but that should be mentioned beforehand or reflected in the price. The view was good. The photos can show the rest.

Daphne made us feel at home during our holiday. She was warm when she greeted us, kind and helpful throughout, and very organized about making sure we had what we needed. The apartment was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and well equipped. We loved the peaceful setting and the breathtaking sea view. It was a wonderful stay, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone wanting comfort, quiet, and Cretan hospitality. We'll come back and tell our friends too! 😊

The views over Voulisma beach were insanely beautiful, and we could see them from the kitchen, living room, and bedroom. The flat was spacious, super clean, and had everything we needed. They even cleaned it daily, which was such a nice surprise to come back to after a full day at the beach. Daphne was really attentive and suggested lovely places to visit nearby and good tavernas. It's an 8 minute walk to the beach and a 3 min drive to the main city for supermarkets and restaurants. We booked two nights and I really wished we'd stayed longer. Huge thanks to Daphne, her uncle, and untie. This place was one of the best I've stayed in. Definitely coming back for more sunrises and sunsets.

Getting there was the confusing part for me. The turn off the main road is tricky, then there's another immediate turn into the parking lot, and my GPS sent me the wrong way. I'd get clear directions in advance. Once there, the view from the couch and from the bed in the morning was absolutely stunning. The decor felt clean and modern, with lovely details, including an exquisite shower tile. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of room to lounge, and the apartment had a fireplace, table, and fully stocked kitchen. All the doors open out so you can eat al fresco. Even the cat host was very friendly. Such a hidden gem.

The host and cleaning lady were so kind. It's a lovely, peaceful place for a holiday, with nice beaches nearby. Renting a car makes it easy to visit places around there. Efharisto!! 💋
