The pool is amazing, and the place itself is lovely, with a nice host. His wife seemed a little rude and wasn't very talkative. Some other travellers spent time with them and had a really good time, so maybe they'd had bad experiences and become mistrustful. The space was okay and so was the location. So yes, I recommend it!

We had essentially the whole fantastic pool to ourselves, and there's a shop within a five-minute walk. The hotel is in a decent spot away from the strip, which I'd avoid like the plague. Our apartment was tiny for four 19 year olds and wasn't the cleanest. The owner never spoke English, but that's fair enough since we're in his country, and his service was always great. I enjoyed the hotel, but wouldn't return to Malia, which is full of drunken English idiots.

The apartments are peaceful, fresh and clean, set in a fabulous garden with a swimming pool. Great location.

Lovely garden, clean pool, private parking, and apartments in both small and large sizes. The owner was great.
