Sofia

Mrs Sofia and her daughter Maria made the stay especially nice. They were so welcoming and thoughtful, and made sure I had what I needed. The setting has gorgeous views, and the location manages to feel peaceful while still being handy for nearby attractions. SOFIA KALYVES went beyond what I expected. I’d happily recommend it to anyone after a relaxing escape with lovely scenery and hosts.

We stayed for a week in September 22 in studio 1, and it was just right for two. There was plenty of room, the furnishings and decor were nice, and everything was very clean. The beach, restaurants and shops are only a short walk away, and we could park our rental car right by the house. Sofia was kind, helpful and friendly, as was the staff. The room was spacious, tidy, clean and really nice, with a lovely view of the sea. Prices were reasonable too. Kalyves beach is about a three-minute walk away, and the local shops take no more than six minutes on foot. Sofia and her family are wonderful, and the location is great. I’d absolutely recommend staying here and look forward to coming back!

The layout didn't match what I expected from the advertised studio. Although a studio can be a two-room apartment, the kitchen and living space here felt more like a corridor. The two bedrooms shown in the photos turned out to be a single room, split by an open archway. The hostess initially seemed to understand English quite well, but when we raised the layout issue, she acted as if she couldn't understand us. She also seemed a little hostile when we went back to the car to leave.
