Sifnos House - Rooms & Spa

We were a family of four with two teenagers, and had a wonderful time at sifnos House in kamares. The beach is excellent and just a two-minute walk away. Each day started with a delicious breakfast and lots of choice. Chris at reception arranged taxis and was helpful in general, and we also had excellent massages at the spa. Our apartment was very comfortable and the staff cleaned it thoroughly every day. Everyone was friendly and added a lot to our stay. This was our third trip to the Greek Islands, and we enjoyed it immensely. Highly recommend sifnos House.

The breakfasts alone were a treat: homemade bread with tomato jam, local cheeses including Manoura, Melopita, Amygdalota, fresh egg omelettes, local specialties and the best olives I’ve ever tasted. Our spacious room was clean and had a distinctive split-level setup, two entrances, a small kitchen and two bathrooms. Since every room is different, it felt special. Christos and Tasos were so kind and accommodating that we felt like family. They sat down with us to map out the island, made several calls and reservations, and on our last day drove us and our luggage to the port in a golf cart. We also saw them personally driving other guests around the island for their 50th wedding anniversary, a particularly special gesture that showed how much care they give their guests. Sifnos House was hands down our best stay in Greece. I’m a travel agent and picky about hotels, and this place exceeded my expectations. It’s rated 3-star, but felt like far more. The location is calm and cozy, about a four-minute walk from the port, and Apollonia is a quick 10-15 minute drive by car or ATV. For comfort, local character and service that goes way above and beyond, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. I left feeling I’d made friends.

We loved spending part of our honeymoon at Sifnos House. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful with a great view from our balcony. It’s in a great spot in Kamares, very close to the ferry. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and had loads of options each morning. On our last morning they surprised us with a cheesecake for our honeymoon, which was unbelievably sweet. We’d recommend it to anyone and would gladly return.

The freshly baked breakfasts were different and delicious every day, and the rooms looked stunning, with perfect attention to detail in the decor. We loved being close to both town and the beach. From the ferry docking, it was just a short 50m walk to Sifnos House. Check-in felt polished: we were offered refreshments and shown around the property. The staff were all wonderful and helped with hiking ideas, locations and our other questions. We’ll definitely come back.
